Bizarre: Lemons have more sugar than strawberries

Nature never fails to surprise! But lemons and sugar?

Strawberries have just 40% sugar content

They say when life gives you lemons, make lemonade. After learning this, we will certainly need a whole lot of it to gulp down the truth.

"Fresh lime water with no sugar" -- sounds familiar? Looks like they knew their biology and chemistry better than us.

Who would believe that lemons contain more sugar than strawberries?

Interestingly, lemons contain 70% sugar and those deceiving little juicy strawberries have just 40% sugar.

Well, it is almost like cola have less sugar than say tender coconut! Ouch that is! Well, for those of us who do not know our science well, it is sad!

Now, why does lemon not taste sweet? Well, it has a very high content of citric acid and that dominates the taste.

Lemons are traitors for containing 70% sugar!

Ps: We love how the photographer has worked around with colours here! Nature photography does teach one about colours!
